How to Ride

It's easy to ride Victoria Transit. You can ride in only three steps.

Step 1: Plan Your Trip

    Use a route map to plan your trip. Maps are available online or at these locations:

    Using your map determine the direction you want to travel and select the route schedule that best matches your location and direction of travel. Use the list of bus stops for your route to pinpoint your departure location. Make sure you have correct change for your trip or purchase a fare pass at one of the above locations.

Step 2: Catch Your Bus

    Victoria Transit buses run approximately every 30 minutes. Arrive at your departure point five to ten minutes early. Buses pick up passengers only at designated stops. When your bus arrives, wait for passengers to exit, then board and pay the fare or use your fare pass.

Step 3: Exit The Bus

    When your stop is approaching (approximately one block away from your stop), pull the stop cord above the windows, or verbally inform the driver.

    Don't forget your belongings, and have a great day!

How To Transfer Buses:

    If you need to transfer to another bus, request a transfer upon paying a fare to the bus operator.
    •  Transfers may not be issued by the Operator after a customer has taken a seat.
    •  A transfer is valid on all routes (in any direction) including the route or route pair from which it was issued.
    •  A transfer is valid for one route change and can be used at transfer areas.
    •  A transfer is free, but is non-transferable to another person.

  •  7:00 am-6:00 pm Monday-Friday
Victoria Transits' Flexible Job Access Route System operates:
  •  6:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday-Friday
  •  7:00 am to 10:00 pm Saturday
  •  11:00 am to 7:00 pm Sunday
Victoria Transit does not provide service on the following days:
  •  Thanksgiving Day
  •  Friday after Thanksgiving
  •  Christmas Day
  •  New Year's Day
  •  Memorial Day
  •  Victoria Transit Training Day
